Our Guarantee

Cover World gives you a FIVE YEAR guarantee against material deterioration and on all of our “OCEAN PRIDE” material covers. Our guarantee also covers the stitching on the seams of the cover.

Any guarantee claim requires proof of purchase and a photo of the white product label which is attached to the cover. Removal of this label will void the warranty.

Warranty is valid from date of purchase, if the cover is replaced the warranty does not reset, the original purchase date remains the start of the five year warranty.

Our material is specially treated to be HIGHLY resistant to the UV in New Zealand. It is the UV that breaks down material and cheaper covers do not have this protection.

We will need to verify that the damage has been caused by fabric deterioration and is not a result of accidental ripping or tearing. We reserve the right to make this judgement based on photographic evidence supplied by purchaser.

Normal everyday wear and tear excepted and we do not cover damage caused by exceptional weather conditions such as wind and storm. It is your responsibility to ensure the covers are firmly attached and that the strapping is not damaged by wind getting underneath.

You can have confidence that if you have any breaking of material due to poor quality then we will replace your cover free of charge.

You have a responsibility to take good care of your cover and maintain it in good condition. Covers with paint on, similar or clear signs of neglect will not be considered under our guarantee.

All claims under the guarantee may require you to return the item to our warehouse for inspection. This is at your cost if we request it.

Cover World guarantee does not cover any product that is used when trailering. If you use a cover when your boat/caravan/motor home or any other product is on thge movethe risk is yours alone.

Our Semi Custom Boat covers are designed so that they can be used when trailering. However you do so ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. We make this stipulation as we do not select the cover size in the first instance and also we are not present to ensure the cover is secured correctly each time it is to be used.

Cover World will not guarantee for tears or rubbing wear, as we are not able to say how they have happened.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your cover fits and is fitted correctly at all times. If, on receipt, you find you have selected the incorrect size of cover please contact us promptly to arrange an exchange. Please note this must be done within 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY.
After that no exchange will be entertained.
If you find that any cover supplied has a fault you must advise us within 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY. If you do not do so then we take no responsibility. EXAMINE your cover carefully, or fit it, within 7 Days of Delivery.
It is your responsibility  to ensure that you fit and secure your cover correctly and tightly so that wind does not cause damage to the cover, straps, zips or clips or the stitching thereon. Please note that unless you report a fault on delivery our general five year guarantee does not apply to zips, straps or clips or the stitching thereon.

Treat all zips with care. They are strong but, like most equipment, if treated with lack of care they will become faulty. That is your responsibility.

We advise using a silicon spray on zips that are in all weathers to protect and lubricate them. Keep the spray off material,

It is YOUR responsibility to protect all sharp points or POTENTIAL rubbing areas.

Cover World takes no responsibility for damage to paintwork or items attached to boats or vehicles. Our covers are designed with a smooth inner liner so as not to damage paintwork. However it is your responsibility to fit them tightly to ensure no wind abrasion. We also advise that you do not put a cover on any NEW paintwork until it has had time to dry and cure fully.

When purchasing any of our products you are accepting our guarantee conditions totally. If in doubt please ask. You accept these conditions when placing an order as you tick the acceptance box before an order can be placed. None of the above overrides your consumer rights and protection under the laws of New Zealand”. Our warranties only apply to the original purchaser and are not transferrable.
